CHAPTER One
is a European style brasserie in the heart of Subiaco. Proprietors Jason and
Hayley keep it simple and intimate with a sitting format for 40 people. Chapter
One Brasserie was founded in 2005 and has built up a list of regular customers
as well as other fine diners. Critically acclaimed, Chapter One has faired well
in numerour reviews, most recently in the Summer 2007/2008 edition of Scoop
Magazine.

This key focus of this project was to design a site that maintained the simplicity
and intimacy of the restaurant. In co-operation with the client, the final design
and colour scheme was selected and an appropriate site structure mapped out.
Next we set up a photo shoot to capture the flavour of some favourite dishes
as well as the personalities of Jason and Hayley. As time passed it became clear
that neither the site, nor the restaurant was looking to stand still, with regular
menu changes and special events added to the site. 1UP Media was also responsible
in establishing a contact database and mailing list for the restaurant.
The Chapter
One website was designed and developed in full by 1UP, and continues to be an
ongoing project with menus, photos and events updated every few months.
